Email Design; TIKIT vs. Outlook

Brief summary of email delivery requirements of Tikit (HTML) versus Outlook…

Designing effective designs for email delivery requires an understanding of HTML parameters (TIKIT is the specific platform that's utilized for the HTML email designs in this Behance portfolio). The other option is a Microsoft Outlook delivery of a JPG. Typically the design is built in InDesign and exported out as a JPG. The Tikit version (below; specs for email production and final JPG) is 72 DPI with a 640 pixel width, and follows best practices for maximum response rate (IE: image usually to right, keep important information prioritized to stay as close to top sa possible and allow viewing through maximum amount of devices, etc) Outlook doesn't have the font limitations and 'forced' grid of the HTML restrictions for delivery.
